Where is the OBD port in your car?
The OBD-II port is a 16-pin trapezoid connector. In most cars it's under the dashboard on the driver's side, within about a metre of the steering wheel — that's part of the standard.
Location in popular Egyptian cars
- Hyundai Elantra / Verna / Accent: under the dash, left of the steering column above the pedals.
- Kia Cerato / Rio: under the dash on the driver's side near the hood release.
- Chery Tiggo: under the driver-side dash, sometimes behind a small cover.
- Nissan Sunny: under the dash below the steering column.
- Toyota Corolla: under the dash, left of the steering column.
- Chevrolet Aveo / Optra: under the driver-side dash.
